Kids of all ages can explore the pizza business through Cassano's Interactive learning curriculum. This multimedia program includes loads of valuable educational material, resources, information, fun and games for students of pre-school and elementary grade levels. The education (teaching) modules can be used alone or in a group to integrate with other curriculum in virtually all elementary level grades and can complement other learning modules about food, nutrition, community and business.

Learning Unit 1: Turn On (The Pizza Business - 5 Teaching Modules)
The modules within the first unit use student activities and role playing to explore the food service industry and identify the key elements of the pizza parlor business. Each module in this learning unit can include a live or virtual pizza store tour.

Learning Unit 2: Dig In (Digging up Pizza Ingredients - 5 Teaching Modules)
The modules in the second unit focuse on the origination of the key ingredients that make up pizza dough, sauce and toppings. Through interactive participation, students learn where each element of a pizza originates and how it is processed for use.

Learning Unit 3: Rise Up (The Making of Pizza Dough - 5 Teaching Modules)
The modules in this unit engage the students in making pizza dough and highlights the dough making process through a live or virtual manufacturing plant tour. Actual dough making and a sculpting contest highlights this interactive education unit.

Learning Unit 4: Pile On (The Making of a Pizza - 5 Teaching Modules)
The modules in this unit engage the students in the making of a pizza and helps them to understand the skills and ingredients that it takes to make a good pizza. Some of the modules in this unit can include a live or virtual pizza store tour.

Learning Unit 5: Chow Down (Energy In - 5 Teaching Modules)
The modules in this unit are based on the Federal Government's Food Pyramid. The modules introduce key elements of living a healthy lifestyle that can lead to a longer life with fewer health problems as an adult. Any of the modules in this unit can also include a live or virtual pizza store tour.

Learning Unit 6: Jump In (Energy Out - 5 Teaching Modules)
The modules in this unit are based on the Federal Government's Activity Pyramid. The modules introduce additional key elements needed for kids to live a healthy lifestyle through exercise and activity. These modules integrate play and exercise through interactive games and activities.
